POLMUN 2024

POLMUN is the oldest Model United Nations conference in Poland, with its legacy dating back to 1992. Since 2015, this exceptional event has been organized by the Foreign Affairs Student Society of the Warsaw School of Economics.

The conference began with inspiring speeches by HE the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, Andreas Stadler, and HE the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation, Marc Bruchez.

This year’s edition, under the theme “Peace through Partnership – Collaborative Approaches to Conflict Resolution,” challenged delegates to tackle pressing global issues in six committees. Together, we proved that differences can unite us, and challenges can shape our strength.

But this year, we went beyond debates and resolutions. Team building became a cornerstone of our program because we believe that collaboration and human connections are the foundation of meaningful change.
